A few things to know

Where does my recording go?

The recording stays in this page’s memory. Stop requests a local download; the Download recording button supplies another click if needed. Nothing is uploaded. Closing or reloading loses unsaved recordings, and browser download settings control saving.

Can I record my microphone and computer audio?

One audio source is recorded: microphone when enabled, otherwise available shared audio. Sources are not mixed. Browser, OS and chosen source determine shared audio availability; silent video is supported.

What are the recording limits?

LocalLoom stops at five minutes or 100 MiB of encoded data. Total RAM use may be higher. Use HTTPS or localhost in a desktop browser supporting getDisplayMedia and MediaRecorder; mobile and other browsers may be limited.
