Terms of use

ForgeHub offers small, free tools and articles that anyone can use without an account. By using the site, you agree to these terms. They are short: use ForgeHub lawfully and reasonably, check results that matter, and understand that the tools are provided free of charge and without warranty.

The service

ForgeHub (“we”, “us”) provides web apps that run in your browser, such as JSON Mirror, and guides about using them. The service is free and requires no registration. We may add, change, pause or remove apps, features or articles at any time, and we do not guarantee that the site will always be available.

Your data and your responsibility

Apps process the content you enter locally in your browser, as described in our privacy policy. You keep all rights to your content, and we claim none. You are responsible for having the right to use the data you process, and for how you store or share any files you export.

Results are produced automatically and can be affected by documented limits. For example, JSON Mirror compares arrays by position and uses standard JavaScript number precision. Review results before relying on them for production changes, security, legal, financial or other important decisions.

Acceptable use

You may use ForgeHub for any lawful personal, educational or commercial purpose. You agree not to:

  • attack, disrupt or overload the site, or attempt to bypass its security measures;
  • use the site to break the law or infringe the rights of others;
  • misrepresent ForgeHub, for example by presenting a copy of the site as the original or implying our endorsement.

Search engines, AI assistants and other automated agents are welcome to crawl, index, summarize and cite ForgeHub pages, provided they do so at a reasonable rate.

Our content and attribution

The ForgeHub name, design, code and articles belong to their owners and are protected by copyright and other laws. You are welcome to quote reasonable excerpts, summarize articles and link to any page, with attribution and a link to the source page. Please do not republish complete articles or present them as your own without permission.

Articles may link to external sites, such as published specifications. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or policies.

No warranty

ForgeHub is provided “as is” and “as available”, free of charge. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, ForgeHub, even if we were advised of the possibility. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as ForgeHub changes. The date above shows the latest revision. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
